I’m Chase Reeves. I write for, design, and maintain Write To Mean, which is my little corner of the web to talk about what’s going on in life.  Best case scenario: writing here helps me to become more aware of what matters in my life.  Worst case: you’re bored; a risk I’m willing to take.

You’ll find most of what you need to know about me in the posts on this blog, but here are the essentials:

• I live in Portland, Oregon with my lovely wife Mellisa Reeves. We’ve got a little boy on the way; we’ll call him Aiden. You can find my hilarious wife’s blog here: The (Very) Early Chronicles of Aiden Reeves.
• According to the Enneagram, I am a type 7, “The Enthusiast.” This means I get fired up about stuff.
• I’m fired up in general about how people have begun to use the internet, and specifically, about how great ideas can spread rapidly through simple, good communication.
• I’m a seasonal drinker: beer and whiskey in the winter, gin and tonics all other times.
• I kick ass at karaoke.
